Biography
ROBERT M MALTBIE, Jr, CFA
General Partner, Managing Director, and
Portfolio Manager
Robert M Maltbie, Jr, is a Managing Director of Millennium Asset
Management and holds a controlling interest in the General Partnership.
Robert began his career as an investment adviser with Morgan Stanley
Dean Witter in 1988 and later joined Spear Financial in 1992 where
he created and managed its equity research department. In 1994 Robert
joined Salomon Smith Barney in Beverly Hills, California where he
managed growth portfolios for private and institutional clients
. He later founded Millennium Asset Management in 1999 and started
its flagship fund Argonaut 2000 Partners, L.P. for accredited investors
and institutions.
Robert graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science in 1981. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst
designation and is a member of the Association for Investment Management
and Research.
Robert has also been featured in Forbes and has contributed investment
advice regularly to several Los Angeles-based financial media. His
investment strategies have also been frequently featured in Investor’s
Business Daily.

The current management is provided by Joseph N. Lambert, sole proprietor, who started as a broker with E.F. Hutton & Co. in 1979. In Mr. Lambert ‘s career he has worked for some major Wall Street money management firms. Mr. Lambert was originally registered with the SEC in 1988 and is now a Registered Investment Advisor with the California State Department of Corporations.
Over his 24 years in the investment field Mr. Lambert has refined the investment process as a portfolio manager at Lambert Capital Management. During his years as a Marketing Director at a few Wall Street firms Mr. Lambert was very successful at raising capital, e.g. at Laurel Capital Advisors (subsidiary of Mellon Bank) he raised $400 million in two years from a start up operation.
Lambert Capital Management is a profitable, financially sound company with no debt.
